Dr Nicole Hoffman

Dr Nicole Hoffman is a gentle dentist who completed her training locally at Griffith University.

Since graduating, Nicole has been practicing in both public and private clinics across South East Queensland.

Nicole is passionate about providing an exceptional standard of dental care. While Nicole enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, she is most passionate about creating a caring, honest and judgement-free environment. Nicole takes the time to listen and welcomes anxious patients. To ensure she provides the highest quality dentistry, Nicole is committed to ongoing education and training.

Outside of work, Nicole enjoys eating at the local cafes and spending time at the beach with her golden retriever Jasper.

Dr Nicole is a welcome addition to our team.

Michael Gould

Michael joined Sunrise Dental Care in early 2023 and brings with him over 22 years experience in children’s and preventative dentistry from both public health and private practice and also specialist orthodontic practices. He has also spent time as a volunteer treating Burmese children living in refugee camps on the Thai/Burmese boarder.

Michael takes an active interest in continuing education and has been a part time clinical demonstrator at the University of Queensland, Bachelor of Oral Health program. He maintains active membership in the Synergy Dental Study Group and is also a member of the Swiss Dental Academy.

Michael is gentle and caring, and he is committed to helping nervous or anxious patients overcome their fears of “going to the dentist”.

Like most of the Sunrise Dental Care  team, Michael also has a passion for sport, including surfing, rugby union, running and recently snow boarding.

Michael Has been a wonderful addition to our team.

Meg Lumsden

Originally from New Zealand, I have moved around since the age of 17, living overseas and across multiple states of Australia.

I graduated as an OHT The University of Adelaide 2009, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate at The University of Melbourne to extend my scope of practice to adults.

Oral health is important to me as the mouth is a gateway to systemic health. I like to operate holistically with all things considered. I value communication as a vital factor in achieving a fun, calm dental experience.

My passions are playing AFL, renovating houses, reading books and when I’m not doing these things I can be found exploring beaches for a surf or travelling to the snow to snowboard.

Ms. Sophie Dodd

Sophie graduated with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene from Adelaide in 2001, therefore has extensive experience and knowledge in this key area of Dentistry. Her professional demeanour, exceptional clinical skills and a gentle nature has allowed Sophie to establish a great reputation and strong rapport with her patients.

Dr Andrew Glendinning

Andrew was born in Scotland and grew up in the South of England. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2002. After graduating, he worked for many years at a busy practice in the South West of England, where he also helped train new dental graduates. In 2015 he relocated to the Sunshine Coast and has called the coast home since then.

Andrew has almost 20 years experience and has an excellent rapport with his patients, a very caring nature and is known as the painless pom. He takes his continual education extremely seriously to ensure he provides the best and most up-to-date care possible for his patients.

When not treating his patients, Andrew enjoys flying, camping and spending time in the beautiful local area with his wife Susan, and two daughters.

Dr. Stephen Gilchrist

Steve graduated from the university of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1997. After working for 5 years in private practice in the North of England, he embarked on a round the world tour concluding in Australia. Steve worked in Cairns for 3 years in various roles including a brief spell as the flying dentist for Cape York. In 2007 he moved to The Sunshine Coast and chose Noosa to settle and raise a family.

With over 23 years of experience, Steve is a very calm and competent dentist. With a likeable and caring personality he is excellent at putting patients at ease. He is a member of the ADA and frequently engages in post graduate learning to keep up to date with advances in Dentistry.

Steve and his wife have 2 beautiful girls and a beagle whom they love to walk. When not practicing dentistry he enjoys cycling, camping and spending time with his family enjoying all the region has to offer.

Dr. James Bradbury

Following in his father’s footsteps, James studied Dentistry at the University of Liverpool in the UK, graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2004.

He is a diligent Dentist who takes great pride and satisfaction in all areas of his clinical work. He has a special-interest in cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and finds treating children especially rewarding.

James takes his continual education extremely serious to ensure he provides the best possible and up-to-date care available for his patients. Since qualifying he has completed a wide range of postgraduate programmes and seminars. These include a post-graduate implant course, as well as courses in Salzburg, Austria; Chamonix, France; and Seattle, USA.

In his free time, James enjoys red wine, playing golf and surfing the points at Noosa National park.

He moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2011 and now calls Noosa home.
